MEET AUTOCAR

AutoCar is a fully-autonomous ground vehicle project, focused on developing a robot capable of traversing simulated urban street environments for the 2020 International Autonomous Robot Racing Competition.

The International Autonomous Robot Racing Competition (IARRC) is a robotics competition hosted at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. The primary objective of the competition is to develop a fully-autonomous ground vehicle to navigate twisting, obstacle-filled courses designed to simulate urban street environments and rough terrain. Started in 2005, the IARRC aims to promote research in autonomous mobile robotics technology and to develop participants' technical skill-sets.
